In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Senior Consultant in Anesthesia and Intensive Care, Coordinator of the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care at Arcadia - Hospitals and Medical Centers. From 2008 to 2010, he lectured at “Gr.T.Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iași for both Romanian and English series. He is a member of the European Society of Anesthesiology, Romanian Society of Anesthesia and Intensive Care, Romanian Sepsis Society, Romanian Nutrition Society, and the Anesthesia and Intensive Care Section of the Society of Physicians and Naturalists, Iași. He has authored and co-authored articles in specialized journals and presented papers at Anesthesia and Intensive Care Congresses. Currently, he performs over 1,000 anesthetic procedures annually, including general and loco-regional anesthesia, in various specialties for both adults and children.

Cristian China-Birta

Cristian China-Birta is the founder and partner of the integrated communication agency Kooperativa 2.0, a trainer, speaker, and blogger at cristianchinabirta.ro. But first and foremost, as he says, he is the father of three children and the husband of his soulmate. In his 15 years of consultancy, he has organized over 500 campaigns with and for influencers. At the same time, he has participated as an influencer in over 200 campaigns. He wrote Romania’s first book on influencer marketing, "Ce ne facem, dom'le, cu influencerii ăștia?". He has conducted over 150 social media courses for companies and agencies and has been a speaker at more than 100 events focused on social media and communication. Since 2007, he has published over 13,000 posts and articles on his blog.

Introduced to Family Constellations in 2009 through a transformative workshop, it became my life's path. Systemic perception shapes how I view life, aiding my work in organizations, families, and society. Influential trainers include Barbara Morgan, Jutta Ten Herkel, Jan Jacob Stam & Bert Hellinger Instituut Netherlands, Sophie Hellinger, and Ruud Knapen. Founder of the Center for Systemic Education, I facilitate personal, family, professional, and organizational transformations using systemic tools. Since 2018, I integrate horses' innate ability to tap into our unconscious, revealing systemic wisdom. Based primarily in Romania, I conduct workshops, retreats, and training in major cities. I also engage internationally in Spain, the Netherlands, the USA, and online workshops.

Florin Constantin

Trainer in Communication and Communication Sciences - Founding Member of Divertis

He was born on May 7th in Gura Humorului, later becoming known for his humor. Raised on Lenin Street, he studied at Gheorghe Asachi's school in Iași and graduated from Costache Negruzzi's high school. He frequented museums and palaces of Alexandru Ioan Cuza and Ștefan cel Mare, later residing on Queen Elisabeta's boulevard and working with Divertis on Nicolae Bălcescu's in Bucharest. Regarding his romantic life, no evidence connects him with celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Sharon Stone, Monica Bellucci, or Nicole Kidman during their Romanian visits. Similarly, native stars maintain silence about any connections. His marital status aligns with the sociodynamic principle "who marries a second time does not deserve the joy of the first divorce." Professionally, he has worked as an engineer, section chief, newspaper columnist, radio director, television host, and communication trainer. He co-founded a humor group that evolved into Divertis.

Irina Păcurariu

She was the first Romanian reporter to produce the Himalayan documentary "Land of the Sherpas," awarded Best Documentary of the Year by APTR. Her accolades include Journalist of the Year for "Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday," and the National Cinematography Council Award for "EU - Edge of Europe," plus six APTR awards, notably the Grand Prize for "Codrina." Trained at BBC, Thomson Foundation, Discovery Campus, France 3, ARD, and Circom Regional, she produced "Stories in White Coats," "Smart Romania," "Ground Zero," "Corridors of Power," "Endless Story," "Great Romanians," "A European Like Me," "Network of Idols," and "The Other Romania," exploring Romanians living abroad. Beyond awards, she's a committed storyteller, driven by authentic narratives that resonate. Her bond with ordinary people fuels her volunteerism and pro-bono work for charitable causes.

Marian Poboroniuc

Robotics and Neuroprosthetics Professor

Prof. Dr. Eng. Marian Poboroniuc is a professor affiliated with the PhD School of TUIASI (Faculty of Electrical Engineering; Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași). He currently leads the Research Center for Energy Conversion Systems and Motion Control (SCECM). His current research interests include control algorithms for mobile robots, analysis and synthesis of human motion, neuroprosthetics, biomechanics, and robotics for rehabilitation. He has been awarded over 20 gold medals and prizes (EUROINVENT, INVEST-INVENT, INVENTICS), including the GRAND PRIZE EUROINVENT 2017 for a hybrid FES and mechatronic hand for stroke rehabilitation.
